Environ creates communities

As Environ, we are not just about producing energy-efficient, lifetime homes of the future but, as our name suggests, we actually wish to create communities where people feel safe and surrounded by friends. It is an old fashioned notion of community perhaps, but it is based on the love that people have for lifestyle living in lifetime homes and their desire to become part of a wider community.
People of all ages live in unique homes in such villages and it is this interaction between age groups that provides a sense of wellbeing and community. So too, a traditional village has a wide range of property sizes, from unique, luxury homes that appeal to singles and couples to larger, contemporary family homes with landscape gardens, and it is this that provides variety and interest. Part of our objective is to achieve a “sense of place”; quiet landscape garden areas for contemplation, safe areas for children away from traffic, sustainable living, a sense of security, beautiful, individual landscape gardens and communal areas to be used by the residents to promote lifestyle living. At our current development of contemporary homes at Oaks Hamlet for instance, the community has even held barbecues and tea parties on the green. A modern, luxury home at one of our developments therefore is not just a roof over your head, it becomes a way of life.
It is particularly gratifying therefore to receive letters that tell us how much residents enjoy living in our luxury homes of the future and appreciate what we are striving to achieve through offering them lifestyle living.
